This Privacy Policy explains how Stølen Development AS handles information in the mobile application Capital Quiz.

2. Summary of how the app handles data
Capital Quiz does not require account creation or login. In the current version reviewed for this policy, the app does not include a third-party advertising SDK, analytics SDK or crash reporting SDK.
The app processes gameplay and preference data locally on your device so that the app can function, remember progress and provide features such as statistics, achievements, coins, themes and notification preferences.

4. Local storage
Capital Quiz uses local device storage, including AsyncStorage, to save gameplay data, statistics, coins, achievements, themes, preferences and app settings. This information is stored on your device and is not sent to Stølen Development AS servers in the current version of the app.
5. Notifications
Capital Quiz may ask for permission to send notifications. Notifications are optional. If you enable notifications, the app uses your device’s notification system to schedule local reminders, such as daily quiz reminders or streak-related reminders.
In the current version reviewed for this policy, Capital Quiz does not request or send a push notification token to Stølen Development AS. The app uses device checks only to determine whether notification functionality can run on a real device.
6. Advertising
In the current version reviewed for this policy, Capital Quiz does not include a third-party advertising SDK and does not use advertising identifiers for advertising purposes. No Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads or similar advertising SDK was found in the reviewed project files.
7. Analytics and crash reporting
In the current version reviewed for this policy, Capital Quiz does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, AppsFlyer, Adjust, RevenueCat, OneSignal, Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar analytics, attribution or crash reporting SDKs.
Stølen Development AS may receive technical information if you voluntarily include it in a support request. App stores and operating system providers may also process technical information under their own privacy policies and terms.
8. Data sharing with third parties
In the current version of Capital Quiz, gameplay data, statistics, coins, achievements and preferences are not shared with third-party advertising, analytics or cloud storage providers by Stølen Development AS.
If you contact support by email, your email is handled by the relevant email service providers used to send and receive that message.
9. Purpose of processing
Data is processed for the following purposes:
- to make the quiz, statistics, achievements, coins and themes work;
- to remember app preferences and selected settings;
- to provide optional local notifications;
- to respond to support requests if you contact us;
- to maintain and improve the app based on user feedback.
10. How data is secured
Locally stored app data is stored on your device using the storage mechanisms available to the app and operating system. You are responsible for securing your own device with appropriate device-level protections such as passcodes, biometric authentication and operating system updates.
Since the current version does not provide account login or cloud sync, Stølen Development AS does not maintain a server-side account database for Capital Quiz users.
11. How long data is kept
Local app data is kept on your device until you delete it, reset app data or uninstall the app. Support emails may be retained for as long as necessary to respond to the request, handle follow-up questions and maintain reasonable business records.
12. How to delete local data
You can normally delete locally stored Capital Quiz data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s data through your device settings, where available. Deleting the app may remove quiz progress, statistics, coins, achievements, themes and settings from the device.
13. Support requests
If you contact Stølen Development AS for support, we may process your email address, name, message content and any information you choose to include. This information is used to respond to your request and provide support.
14. Accounts and login
Capital Quiz does not require users to create an account and does not provide user login in the current version.
15. Children and young people
Capital Quiz is a geography quiz app intended for general educational and entertainment use. The app does not require account creation and Stølen Development AS does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at Help@stolendevelopment.no.
16. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal information. For local app data stored only on your device, Stølen Development AS may not be able to access, correct or delete that data remotely. You can usually remove local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data through your device settings.
For support emails or other information you have sent directly to us, you may contact us to request access, correction or deletion.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Capital Quiz changes, if new features are added, or if we add services such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, accounts or cloud sync. The updated version will be published on this page.
